1. Union Square Ice Rink
This is located in San Francisco’s iconic plaza surrounded by festive lights, sights, and Christmas spirit. A unique outdoor ice skating experience in the middle of San Franciso. The ice rink opens November 2 and you can purchase tickets online.
2. Embarcadero Holiday Ice Rink
It is open through January 8 at the Justin Herman Plaza. Spend some time here ice skating and head on over to the Off the Grid’s food trucks that are on fare on Sundays from 12 to 4 PM. Plus there is always movement in embarcadero and things to see. You won’t be bored for a second.
3. Little Ice Rink
In the East Bay, Alameda’s Little Ice Rink is open at the South Shore Center through January 8. Its smaller size makes its perfect for children and for parents to keep a good eye on them.
4. Downtown Ice
It will be open through January 16. Here you can do things a little direct by renting BYOSkates. When you’re done skating you can easily walk towards the other holiday festivities in Christmas in the Park.
